Here is the garden before construction started. There were a lot of plants - Filopendula, Japanese Anemone, Dwarf Daylilies, Rose bushes, Barberry, and Solomon Seal. All of them had to be moved (or given away), so that the ground could be cleared without feeling like we had killed part of the garden.
