Windows and Siding - 3 October 2011

When the day starts out foggy and raining and the weather forecaster says that's what you are going to have all day, its really hard to change gears when the sun comes out, the sky clears and everything becomes balmy and beautiful. That was today. The guys moved everything inside with Michael planing on the main floor and Colin and Brad working on windows and the trim for the main doors on the second floor. Painting clapboards in the same place where the planer is going seemed unwise, both from the standpoint of sawdust and noise. Stripping paint from trim didn't seem possible while it was still wet from the weekend.

So even though the weather changed, I was at a bit of a loss, not adapting to the sunshine and moving the painting outside. I futzed around putting stuff away and doing little things, but it was a waste of good weather. Luckily the guys don't react to weather in the same way.
